While managing Oreo’s regular digital campaigns, my team at 360i would occasionally struggle to justify Oreo’s frequent new flavor reveals. Although mostly dictated by boring business demands, rabid fans wondered “why this flavor? Why now?”
On spec, my team created the Oreo Wondervault, an iterative campaign to answer this question and improve brand equity while alleviating internal workload. The Oreo Wondervault builds on brand mythology to explain the origin of each new flavor, and was launched with 360 degree animated videos as well as an experiential, fanciful vault experience that drew hundreds of cookie coinessuers to Chelsea, even on a brisk winter afternoon.
