In the cutting edge world of quantum computing, cloud infrastructure, and artificial intelligence, the concept of a legacy technology company is almost an oxymoron. Founded in 1911, International Business Machines, known now as IBM, was incorporated closer to the invention of the incandescent lightbulb than the moon landing. Despite the exponential evolution of technology, IBM has persevered, growing into the largest industrial research organization in the world.

While IBM offers a huge range of products and services while leading the charge in many emergent fields, it’s far from the only player in the game. With massive competition from the likes of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, IBM has made a winning bet with content-driven in-bound marketing that consistently outpaces paid digital media and dominates search results.

As a senior writer on the content side, I’ve authored dozens of tech explainer articles, diving into the research to produce informative pieces that stand out from other sources. Specializing in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and quantum computing, I’ve worked closely with internal stakeholders as well as Phd researchers to create meaningful engagement and pull qualified potential customers into our ecosystem. I’m proud to say my articles consistently earn first page rankings on Google, with many holding the top spot or AI summary snippet placement. Generating tens of thousands of page views a year, my contributions to the IBM blog have been some of the most demanding, but also most seen pieces of my portfolio, and some of the most rewarding as well.
